Progress on Creation Room and Hall of Questions

 As you enter the Genesis Walk Museum you will first come to the Hall of Questions. Many of us wonder: Does God really exist?, How did Noah get all the animals on the ark?, Is evolution true? Did God use evolution?,  If God is good, why do we suffer?, Why do people around the world look different?, What happened to the dinosaurs? 

These questions will be presented on the walls in this area. Moving forward you will enter the Creation Room. Here you will watch a 6 minute video of what occurred in Creation Week. There will be 7 colorful, creative posters giving details of each day. Throughout all this will be displays pointing to the Everlasting God! 

We have been working hard to get ready for summer 2021. Ready to go and be a light to the world, give answers, and point folks to Christ.

The trailer for the Genesis Walk Museum arrived at our home on a snowy December morning. We had a board meeting and began work on the design of the outer wrap and the Creation Room, which will include a theater-style film of Genesis 1.

The trailer is fully equipped with heat and air conditioning for outreaches in every season, as well as an awning for outdoor activities. It is truly a beautiful trailer and solidly built! We are humbled that the Lord has entrusted this to us and intend it be used to proclaim His truth to our neighbors.

Our goal is to have the outer wrap and Creation Room complete and begin outreaches next spring/summer. Please help us build awareness about the museum.

Finances for PHASE I (trailer and outer wrap) : COMPLETE! THANK YOU!!

PHASE II (Creation Room) and PHASE III (Genesis 3-11 and Jesus): Fund raising is underway. For example, a generator for use in locations with no electricity will cost $2,200, or the projector for the Creation Room costs $2,500, and the screen $700.

We are working to make the museum Biblically and scientifically accurate. We look forward to again be out on the streets engaging individuals and the culture in discussions and sharing with them the gift of God, which is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

TRAILER ORDERED!

We can all use some good news, right? Well, I have GREAT news! The Genesis Walk Museum trailer will be in production next week!! That's right. God's timing is here; I paid the down payment today. All the parts arrived (thanks for praying!). It is officially ordered. The delay was largely due to shutdowns in manufacturing that is occurring nationwide. Our salesman from Lakeside Services really worked hard to get us in the Que. He is as excited as we are, and said the folks at Triton Trailer are pretty excited to work on our custom built trailer, too. It will be one of a kind. Our desire is that the mobile museum will bring honor and glory to our gracious Lord and that many will come to know Him through the outreaches.

In light of the disruption occurring in social activities, gatherings, etc, we believe the timing for our own venue is stellar. It blesses my heart to realize God knew all along what would happen to our nation and moved us in the direction to build a mobile unit so we are able to continue sharing His Word with our neighbors. Thank you for helping us do this! I know not what will happen in the next few weeks, but He does, and we will continue to bring hope and truth to our communities during this time that is leaving many in turmoil. I hope that seeing God's timing in this encourages your heart as it does mine.

We have funding for the trailer and enough to begin the Creation Room, which is a theater-like room showing a state of the art video on the six days of creation. Thanks to the folks at Genesismovie.com for allowing us to use their film and cut it to meet our needs (Thank you, Randy, for making this work for us). We will also begin work on the apologetic posters in the Creation Room. Once this room is complete we can begin outreaches, but the remainder of the trailer will still be in the works.

Financial needs include:

1. $6,000 for the eye-catching outer wrap for the trailer.

2. Ongoing expenses for the displays about Genesis 3-11 and the gospel.

The Geology of the Wisconsin Dells Explained from a Biblical Perspective

The Bible describes a global flood in Genesis chapters 6-8. A group of families from Wisconsin toured the Wisconsin Dells and the Wisconsin River on Sept. 19, 2020 to see evidences for this historical event. Below are some pictures and two videos of Randy explaining some of the reasons we believe the Mt. Simon Sandstone we see was laid down early in the flood of Noah's day. 

 

Wisconsin Upper Dells Biblical Geology Boat Tour Saturday Sept. 19, 2020

 What's the Evidence Creation Ministry is sponsoring a Family Field Trip to the Wisconsin Dells on Saturday, September 19th, 2020. 

Participants will learn about, 'The Power of Water". There will be two time options from which to choose:

 Option 1: Upper Dells Boat tour 9-11 (please arrive at least 15 minutes early),  lunch at 11:30 at Newport Park and discussion of 2008 Lake Delton flood, followed by visit to land breach site at Kaminski Park. 

Option 2: Meet at 11:30 for lunch and discussion of 2008 Lake Delton flood, visit land breach site at Kaminski Park, then drive to boat launch for 2-4 pm boat tour.

The Upper Dells Boat tour includes a private chartered Upper Dells Boat Tour of the Wisconsin River with stops at Witches Gulch and Stand Rock. Along the way Randy of What's the Evidence ministry will be pointing out the geology layers along the river from a Biblical perspective. There is a cost for those attending, and lunch will be provided. Because of the boat, attendance is limited. God's Work Does Not Stop-Exciting Update!

To all of our financial and prayer supporters:

We serve a living God! He is working in the world. He is drawing people to Himself. He uses flawed mankind in this fallen world. As His servants our desire is to busy doing the work He has called us to do. He is using so many faithful Christians to join us in this work. With all our hearts we thank you. Since this Covid-19 (or SARS COV2) pandemic has come about and the world seems in turmoil, we find comfort in His truth that never changes. I keep thinking about the New Testament verses in Matthew 25. Our desire is to hear, "Well done thou good and faithful servant".  We press on. The world needs His message now more than ever. I am finding many ears are open. Here is an update.

PHASE 1 of fund-raising for the Genesis Walk Museum is accomplished. All glory to God who made this happen and used YOU to do so. We are so blessed and thankful to partner with you, and with all our hearts we thank you.

Please pray fervently that the trailer can quickly be ordered. The building of this custom built trailer will likely take 2 months. Once we have the trailer we will begin building the Creation Room. As we wait during this time of shut-downs we are busy planning. Pray for us.

I will change the current GoFundMe account and  begin a new one to raise funds for the "Genesis Walk" displays and ongoing expenses for outreaches. 

The building and design of the Creation Room (Genesis 1-2) is now our task. Once the Creation Room is finished we will work on the rest of the story....Genesis 3-11 and Jesus, the promised Redeemer. The outer wrap will also be designed. Our goal is to have the Creation Room ready by December so we can begin outreaches at Christmas time. We have a message to share!

At this time, please be encouraged. It is no accident that our phase one fundraising was completed during a time of worldwide turmoil. It comforts my heart to reflect on HIS GOODNESS and timing. His hand is not short.........His ear is not heavy. Our God lives. 

When can we order the trailer?

I am in awe at the love and generosity of so many folks who are making this mobile Genesis Walk Museum a reality. It is a bit daunting to step out and begin a venture that requires the help of others, all without the financing needed to get it off the ground.
We have been going to fairs in Wisconsin for well over a decade with the message of God's Word, beginning in Genesis and culminating with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Now we plan to go mobile in order to make our message more cohesive (a WALK through Genesis), and to reach out at more venues, and make it easier on us to do so (setting up and tearing down is hard on my body!).
We began fundraising just over a year ago. God has sent over $25,000.00 of the needed $45,000.00 to purchase the trailer, beautiful outer wrap and design and outfit the inside (which will be somewhat ongoing for a while).
My heart is bursting as I reflect on the generosity of so many. Thank you!

We can order the custom built Triton trailer once we have $34,000.00 in hand. We are so close!! The trailer will take 2-3 months to build to our specifications. We have VERY TALENTED people on our team who will design the displays. We will also accept help from those wishing to join our team. :)

The improvement of DNA sequencing technology, along with scientific advances in the field of genomics, is proving to be a profound enemy of evolution. Two new discoveries that challenge the human evolution paradigm were reported nearly simultaneously—one by a secular scientist and the other by myself. Remarkably, the corroborating data produced in both reports are in perfect agreement.

The improvement of DNA sequencing technology, along with scientific advances in the field of genomics, is proving to be a profound enemy of evolution.

A key element of the evolutionary paradigm is the idea that human DNA and chimpanzee DNA are 98.5% identical. This level of DNA similarity is needed to undergird the hypothesis that humans and chimps shared a common ancestor three to six million years ago. Based on known mutation rates in both humans and chimps, anything significantly less than a 98.5% DNA similarity would destroy the foundation of the entire theory.

New York Seminarians Worship Plants

Recently, some New York seminary students exhibited their unbiblical imaginations by idolatrously confessing their sins to potted plants. Sound silly? It is.

Today in chapel, we confessed [our sins] to plants. Together, we held our grief, joy, regret, hope, guilt and sorrow in prayer; offering them to the beings who sustain us but whose gift we too often fail to honor. What do you confess to the plants in your life?¹

New York’s Union Theological Seminary (an affiliate of Columbia University) has a long reputation for rejecting the Bible’s authority and doctrines, but plant worship is a new low. What’s going on? In short, if people don’t worship the real God, they’ll eventually imagine and worship fake gods.

Not only is it our duty to glorify God as Creator, and to thank Him for creating us, it’s dangerous if we fail to do so. Scripture says that failing to revere God as our Maker is a path to disaster—because such failures flow into vain imaginations, darkened hearts, and reprobate-minded follies.

Because, although they [i.e., all humans who hold the truth of God in unrighteousness] knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals, and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness.... And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind… (Romans 1:21-26a, 28a)
